Authority is the heart of a Kingdom. If there's no authority then there's no Kingdom. Authority means having dominion, the ability or power to do something based on a higher power, or to multiply. Kingdom authority is the right to act on behalf of the King. It’s not earned by striving or shouting louder, it is received when you know who you are in Christ. When you understand your citizenship, dominion becomes natural. You stop begging God to do what He has already empowered you to do. You speak, and heaven backs it. You command, and the enemy must obey.
True kingdom authority isn’t harsh or prideful — it’s clothed in humility, rooted in intimacy with Jesus, and proven by the love that flows through you. It’s not just power to defeat darkness, it’s authority to establish His light. The bible is clear that you are given Kingdom authority through Jesus and the indwelling of the Holy Spirit. Kingdom authority is given to you when you obtained citizenship in the Kingdom.
The Church is brought into being Through the Authority of the Kingdom of God. Without the kingdom as the reality of the church, the church cannot be built up. The building of the church is intimately related to the exercise of the kingdom life. If we don’t know what the kingdom life is - what is to exercise the Lord’s authority to bind and to loose, we do not know what it is to build the church.
God's power flows through authority and he's given that authority to you! We're not here to build a kingdom, But rather manifest one that's already come!
